Sophos secures its future performance with Cognos
~ Global IT security and control firm picks IBM Cognos 8 Planning to help slash planning processes ~

LONDON, England, April 24, 2008 – Cognos, an IBM company, and the world leader in business intelligence and performance management solutions, has announced that Sophos has selected IBM Cognos 8 Planning to improve its financial management.

Sophos, a world leader in IT security and control solutions, will use Cognos to improve its planning and forecasting. Budget holders across the world will use the web-based solution to update their finance teams on sales forecasts, headcount plans and cost projections for their region.

Real-time forecast visibility will help Sophos to plan required resources and predict results with greater accuracy. It will also help to guide decision-making on how best to achieve the company’s performance goals.
