Architecture

Onyx has completed its migration to leverage IBM Cognos 8 BI. It includes:

  • A pre-built Framework Manager model for the Onyx Enterprise Database
  • Security adapter using IBM Cognos 8 SDK
  • Pre-built Cognos reporting templates with prompt pages
  • Report view or run windows (portlets) embedded into the CRM user interface
  • Bi-directional drill-through that allows users to navigate directly from reports to individual records in the CRM system; or pass context variables to reports from CRM so they are automatically filtered for content views within the CRM system
  • Pre-built cubes for customer segmentation, marketing management, sales management, service management, and support management

Availability

Users access the system on-premises via the Onyx CRM application and/or Cognos Connection.
