Architecture

AFDS relies on an automated transfer of data from airline source systems (such as ACARS, FMS, and ERP) into the industry standard AFDS BI-ready data model. Cognos provides the airline employee interaction layer.

Since AFDS can accommodate large volumes of data at the lowest level of detail, it enables powerful time trend analyses against a wide range of dimensions and measures.
