Architecture
Acorn products are able to generate user-defined cubes for consumption by Cognos software. Acorn also provides pre-built integration with Cognos BI and Planning through the recently released, jointly developed Branch Performance Blueprint. BI software is used for reporting and analytics. Planning software is used for all forward-looking, predictive planning and analysis.
Acorn is built on Microsoft SQL Server 2005, which is designed for open integration in terms of both data input and output.
