Job description:

The R&D department in Stockholm is looking for a person who will be part of the 3LS team (third level support) for Cognos Financial Consolidation products. You will be part of an energetic and devoted development team consisting of financial specialists and software engineers.

In order to provide a high level of quality support to our customers we have started to build up a dedicated 3LS team. This is on a long term basis and as our new full time 3LS analyst you will have the possibility to influence this new function.

Today we have a team where software developers and application analysts from the other teams within R&D are serving the 3LS function on a rotating basis, a month at a time.

The challenge:

As a 3LS analyst you are responsible for handling all support cases delivered to the R&D department located in Stockholm. 3LS is the final destination for a support issue which has passed several support levels before reaching the development department. Therefore it is vital that you are flexible, service minded and focused on the importance of solving these cases.

As the responsible for handling the cases you will receive excellent support from your colleagues within R&D and you will be able to share their experiences and learn from them. You are also working close to the different parts of the product’s support organization around the world. Therefore it is important that you have excellent communication and writing skills, in both English and Swedish.

In your central position you will provide the R&D and PM (Product Management) with knowledge about customer situations and possible areas of improvement within the product (that is customer experience, product areas for improvement, best practices).

To handle this role you should be committed, focused on delivery and perform at your best in a small, informal team where initiative, creativity, motivation and openness are essential.

Your expertise:

  • You have a strong financial or technical background with at least 4 years of experience.
  • Preferably you already have a great knowledge of our product, IBM Cognos 8 Controller.
  • You have a University Degree (in economics or engineering) or equivalent based on several years of experience.
  • Work experience from support is a plus, but not a requirement
