The listserver is an e-mail redistribution server—meaning that registered subscribers can post a message to the listserver that is then automatically forwarded to all the list's subscribers. The PowerHouse listserver is run by David Sowder using the GNU Mailman software that provides web-accessible list archives, MIME list subscription capabilities, and web-based list subscription services.
