Cognos Signs Multiyear Agreement with The Boeing Company
– Business intelligence software to be available to
employees enterprise wide –
BURLINGTON, MA, July 13, 2005— Cognos (Nasdaq: COGN; TSX: CSN), the world leader in business intelligence and corporate performance management (CPM), today announced that it has signed a multi-year agreement with The Boeing Company. The global manufacturer will use Cognos’ enterprise business intelligence solution, including Cognos ReportNet™, to provide common business reporting. Boeing joins leading global organizations who utilize Cognos performance management solutions to enhance their operational effectiveness.
The Cognos solution, part of an enterprise-wide business intelligence initiative, will be utilized within Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Integrated Defense Systems, Shared Services Group, and Connexion by Boeing SM.
