Cognos Signs Partnership Agreement with Tata Consultancy Services to Expand Global Services Reach

Burlington, MA, Nov. 20, 2003—Cognos (Nasdaq: COGN; TSX: CSN), the world leader in business intelligence (BI) and corporate performance management, today announced a strategic partnership with leading services outsourcing firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Due to the global demand for Cognos ReportNet and the mission-critical application of BI, Cognos has augmented its services offerings by joining with TCS.

Fully Cognos-certified, TCS, Asia's largest software and services company is tasked with assisting customers at all stages of solution deployment. TCS will assist customers with the move away from competitive reporting solutions to drive enterprise reporting standardization in Cognos accounts.
