for Enterprise Business Intelligence
Long-time customer expands investment across organization
BURLINGTON, MA, Sept. 30, 2002Cognos (Nasdaq: COGN; TSX: CSN), the world leader in business intelligence (BI), today announced the U.S. Army Reserves and U.S. Army National Guard have selected Cognos Series 7.
A Cognos customer for more than three years, the U.S. Army Reserves and U.S. National Guard purchased Cognos Series 7 for integrated, enterprise-class business intelligence reporting, analysis, ad hoc query, scorecarding, and visualization. The organizations also selected Cognos Noticecast, for operational event detection and alerting to wireless devices and e-mail, and professional services.
With more than 600,000-persons across the U.S. Army Reserves and U.S. Army National Guard, Cognos Series 7 will be deployed across an Extranet environment.
