GE Medical has purchased the complete framework of Series 7 business intelligence products, including Impromptu® Web Reports, PowerPlay®, Cognos Query and Visualizer. The initial Cognos deployment will roll out to more than 5000 employees in departments across GE Medical, which will use Cognos business intelligence to analyze and report on critical key performance indicators (KPI's) and drive corporate performance management initiatives throughout the enterprise.
