Cognos® DecisionStream 6.5 Receives Siebel eBusiness 2000 Validation

BURLINGTON, MA, April 24, 2001—Cognos® (NASDAQ:COGN ; TSE:CSN), the world's largest and most successful business intelligence company, today announced that it has strengthened its partnership with Siebel Systems through the successful validation of Cognos DecisionStream and Siebel eBusiness Applications. This best of breed solution strengthens customer acquisition and retention, improves business relationships, and increases top-line growth for joint Cognos and Siebel Systems' customers.
