Pre-conference training is a great way to enhance your learning at Cognos Forum. Get your hands on Cognos products and gain expert know-how, tips, and tricks from our in-house Cognos instructors. Learn the fundamentals of IBM Cognos TM1 server configuration, dimension building, cube design and creation, data loading, rule writing, and security.
Audience:
This class is intended for individuals responsible for creating and maintaining IBM Cognos TM1 applications.
Prerequisites:
TM1 End-User - Fundamentals class or equivalent experience.
Course Description:
Gain essential knowledge to help ensure the success of your IBM Cognos 8 BI implementation. Participants will be introduced to the Cognos Solutions Implementation Methodology (CSIM), the elements of IBM Cognos 8 BI, and the underlying architecture. They will examine the process of creating a IBM Cognos 8 BI solution, and discuss how IBM Cognos 8 BI relates to the other parts of Cognos 8. Participants will be shown a range of resources to help them successfully manage their implementations.

Understanding of company's business intelligence process and reporting needs.
