Booking your Hotel
If you have not already booked your hotel, please do so ASAP. There are still a limited number of rooms available at the Venetian Resort and Hotel as well as Treasure Island.

Changing your hotel reservation:
You will need to log back into your registration (use the username and password when you registered) and click on view/edit under hotels. The hotel information page will pop up and you'll need to enter your last name and confirmation number, make your selection and click on continue.

Time Zone
Las Vegas is located in the United States Pacific Time Zone (GMT -08:00).

Ground Transportation
There are a variety of transportation options at the airport including airport shuttles and commercial taxis.

Taxis are available outside the east side of baggage claim, outside door exits 1-5. Airport personnel are available at the curb to assist passengers. All taxi fares originating from the airport carry a $1.20 surcharge. Taxis do not accept credit cards.

Shuttle and limousine services are located on the north and west sides of baggage claim, outside door exits 8-14. Both group shuttles and walk-up stretch limousines are available.

Register onsite at self-service computers located inside the Lando Ballroom on the 4th level.

Guest Registration
If you have purchased guest passes for Forum events, you must also register those guests at the self-service computers located in the Lando Ballroom (4th level). Your guests will receive a badge which must be worn to any events in the hotel, and their ticket to the Cirque du Soleil show selected, if applicable.

Badges
Please wear your Conference badge at all times. You’ll need it for admission to sessions, meals, events, and the Cognos Central kiosks. Badges will be scanned as part of the session reservation process. You will not need to wear your badge to the evening with Cirque du Soleil, but you will be required to present your ticket to be admitted to the show.

Meals
Meals are provided as part of your registration package. The following meals are included:

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: Continental Breakfast
Tuesday and Wednesday: Lunch
Welcome Reception (Monday): Buffet dinner
Performance World Reception: Appetizers
Customer Appreciation Reception: Buffet dinner

If you indicated a special dietary requirement when you registered, please identify yourself to the banquet staff at the beginning of each meal.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the meeting spaces or dining areas.

Cognos Central
Cognos Central, sponsored by Deloitte, is the communications hub for all attendees at Cognos Forum. At these computers, you can:

Obtain updates on the agenda, room, and session changes
Create, modify, and print your personal schedule
Complete your session evaluation forms and qualify to win up to $500
Access Cognos Forum Connect
Check your email (10-minute time limit during peak periods)

Performance World

Internet and Wireless Access
Internet access is available at the Cognos Central kiosks. There is a 10-minute limit during peak hours so that other attendees can access their schedules and complete evaluations. You may take advantage of wireless access in Performance World by using access code Forum2008.

Business Center
The Business Center is located across from the Bellini Ballroom on the 2nd level.
