Breakout Sessions Logistics

Cognos Forum Scheduling
Reserve your seat in the breakout sessions of your choice and selected Performance World activities using Scheduler, our convenient online scheduling system. With Scheduler, you can pre-register for sessions, update your schedule, and print out your personalized agenda. To access Scheduler, you will need the username and password you received upon registration.

Book your sessions by looking through the catalog and indicating your interest in the sessions and activities you would like to attend. Once you have done that, simply click “Prepare my Schedule” and the system will automatically fill your calendar with the sessions and activities you have selected, and advise you of any conflicts.

Alternately, you can book your sessions through the calendar view, and simply select the sessions that appeal most to you in a particular time slot.

If you are a CPA, you can earn credits for attending Cognos Forum sessions. The National Association of the State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) has approved several training sessions for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits.

Guarantee Your Session Seat
Please note that if you have pre-registered for a breakout session or Performance World activity, you must arrive by the published start time or risk losing your seat. To ensure that popular sessions are run at full capacity, we will provide a small waiting area outside these rooms. When the session begins, unoccupied seats–including those that may have been reserved–will be given to the people waiting in line.

Session Handouts
Session handouts will be available on May 7. Although you will be able to print copies of the handouts on site, we encourage you to do this before you arrive at Forum, to ensure that you have handouts for all the sessions you will be attending.

Updating your Registration Options
You can update your Forum registration package at any time prior to your arrival. You may want to update your package if, after you register for the Conference, you choose to attend a pre-conference training session, golf, or purchase guest passes. For customers, simply log in to the registration system and click the Purchased Items link.

CPAs – Earn CPE Credits!
If you are a CPA, you can earn credits for attending Cognos Forum sessions. The National Association of the State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) has approved several training sessions for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits. Eligibility is limited to Finance-only solutions. For accreditation, please visit the onsite registration desk on the last day of the conference or send an email to cognosforum2008@cognosevents08.com and a certificate will be mailed to you.

Cognos Forum Presentation Archives
Cognos Forum breakout session presentations will be available onsite at Cognos Central or for downloads from your own computer. You may also access them post conference through the Cognos Forum Web site using your conference user name and password.

Evaluation Forms
Tell us what you think and qualify to win! Visit Cognos Central and fill out your session evaluations online. Each completed evaluation qualifies you to win one of five $100 American Express gift certificates, which will be given away daily. Complete an evaluation for every session you attend and qualify to win an additional $500!

An overall conference survey will be available online at Cognos Central on Thursday morning and will also be e-mailed to you after the event. Complete the survey by May 23 and you’ll have another chance to win $500!
