Cognos has been operating in Australia since 1985 when it opened two offices in Sydney and Melbourne. The outstanding customer response to Cognos solutions has led to significant growth within the region and there are now five Cognos branch offices throughout the country — Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Perth and Brisbane. In 2000, Cognos undertook a major investment in the Asia-Pacific region and established Sydney as one of three regional headquarters along with Burlington MA, USA and London, England.
